Welcome to dh design & typesetting, Specialising in typesetting traditional music, including fiddle, whistle, and bagpipe compositions.
Since then dh design has been working on both websites and music typesetting, including designing websites for both up-and-coming and established traditional musicians, as well as designing websites for companies local to the Tayside area. In 2006, dh design was asked to typeset the compositions for the first collection by Gordon Duncan. This included typesetting from manuscripts and from audio recordings. The book was launched in the Summer of 2007 at PipingLive! in Glasgow. Book Two is currently in the initial stages of production and we are looking at a 2009/2010 Summer release. dh design has been designing websites since 2004, at that time they were under the name of PiperWebDesign. The initial project for ourselves was the design and maintenance of a functional website for the Mains of Fintry Pipe Band. Thanks to the band's website, they were contacted by the organising committee for the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony and were asked not only to represent Scotland, but represent European music in the parade of athletes.
